So say prayer for those directly on the coast and even for those of us a few miles inland.

Tropical Storm Debby
I'm not sure if I've ever formally announced where I live but given the nature of this post...it's kind of obvious. Well we are being effected by Tropical Storm Debby. Thankfully, we live somewhat inland so we don't even to deal with much flooding my our house but there have been many tornadoes popping up all around surrounding areas and the area by the Air Force Base is flooded. Many are without power(ours has blinked about 5 times today). It has been raining and storming for days with no end in sight. Today we were issued a Tropical Storm Warning and the Governor issued a State of Emergency. It's a little nerve wracking. I'm most worried about the power going out and about tornadoes...I've never been a big fan of storms so the fact that we've had a tornado watch for two days has me a bit nervous.

Stay safe! We have family down in Navarre. I went through Hurricane Irene last year--first one and it was just my kids and me since my husband was not home at the time. Very scary and being put under a tornado warning in the middle of the night sucks! Be safe and check in when you can!
