I am a military wife. My husband is more than just the father of my children and them man I fell in love with...he's also my hero. He, like many other veterans and active duty, puts his life on hold and works long hours to maintain our country's freedoms. There are so many men and woman serving our country and those that have served that deserve so much thanks and appreciation. Every year when veteran's day rolls around I have such a heavy heart. I think about those who fought in World War II or those who lost their lives in the War on Terror. It's amazing the sacrifice our military men and woman have and continue to make. I, myself, could never be in the military. I am not strong enough but I commend those that have joined and served. It is truly an amazing thing! So this Veteran's day please take the time to thank a veteran.
