When you get married you take a vow before your family and before God saying that you will love this person forever. In good times and bad, in sickness and in health. But commitment happens in your heart and mind. Love isn't just a feeling and the butterflies in your stomach. Love is a CHOICE. You choose to love someone forever. Love can be learned. Love is something that takes time to build. You have to work at it. You have to COMMIT. If you never commit all you have your marriage...will fail. To fully commit you cut out negative influences. You cut out all of the temptation. You respect your spouse and never talk bad about them. You don't look at other men or woman. You don't look at porn. You look at your spouse and remind yourself how wonderful they truly are. Marriage is not supposed to be a fairy tale. It takes work, honesty, communication, compromise and COMMITMENT. It's no longer all about you and what you want. It's about respecting and loving your spouse. If you've never fully committed to your spouse then you haven't given your marriage a fair chance. Your kids need you and they deserve for you to rid your life of the negative and temptation and commit. Your wife is hurting and needs you too.

A wife who loves you so deeply. A beautiful daughter and a precious son to be born in 12 weeks. A house. A Car. A motorcycle. A great family dog. Why give all of this up? Why not grow up and be proud. Why not commit and try for once.

Even through all of this...I still love you and will always love you.

  1. Some people are just too selfish to do what seems like a simple thing you are asking. And then others really believe that if you "love" someone it shouldn't be any work at all, and if it is then something is wrong and you need to get out. But they are wrong. You have to choose, like you said, to love your spouse every single day. That is what its really about.
