Today we celebrated, poolside, the three years of life our sweet girl has lived. For a 3 year old she sure has been through a lot. From deployment, Tdy's to lots of doctor's appointments, tests, and therapies. She is a strong little girl and extremely resilient. She is determined and never gives up. She is loving and kind with an awesome sense of humor. She has come a long way and we are so proud of her hard work! Little Miss is truly a special little girl. I am so proud to call her mine:)
In about 10 days we will be heading on a road trip to two different states to throw a birthday party in both states with our families. Because Little Man turns one in just five and a half weeks we will be combining their birthdays and having two parties in different states but we didn't want to miss Little Miss' real birthday which is why we celebrated today.
Close friends came out to the pool in our neighborhood and we swam and laughed. It was such a fun day for everyone. None of the kids threw tantrums...everyone just had a good time. We ordered yummy pizza and at cupcakes. And of course Little Miss got to open some awesome presents. Overall, it was just a great day. The weather was perfect even if it was over 90 degrees...that just made us wanna swim that much more.
As sad as I am that my Little girl is growing up so fast...I'm am so beyond proud of her and excited for the years to come. I look forward to the girl she grows into and the many more memories we can make. Being a mom is such a blessing.... :)
